Sports:

Brij M Singh is a student at the University of Michigan, Business Administration at the Stephen M Ross School of Business and Sport Management at the School of Kinesiology.

Brij’s experience began with baseball and basketball, but soon found a niche in field hockey. After playing for Northern California’s Under-21 regional team at 13, he transitioned to sport business. Subsequent high school internships with USA Field Hockey and the US Olympic Committee’s Diversity and Inclusion branch confirmed a career in sport.

Singh’s college student education in sport business education led to interning at the USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program in Plymouth, Michigan, and at the National Hockey League (NHL) in New York City, where he was a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern for the head NHL office. In Manhattan, his work included developing tactics for hockey development, charity work, and the Hockey Is For Everyone department of the NHL, that has ties to NHL Green, the sport’s sustainability department.

Brij is currently living in London for a study abroad program.
