Climate Crisis and Millennials:

Kevin Quinn is an emerging young conservationist with a background in environmental science and policy. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado – Boulder and has recently earned a Master of Legal Studies in Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Policy from the University of Denver. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in environmental advocacy, legislative affairs, and strategic communications while working with various environmental organizations including the Climate Reality Project, Environmental Defense Fund, and Conservation Colorado.

Currently, he serves as Chief of Staff to Colorado State Representative Chris Hansen, where he supports a progressive legislative agenda that aims to promote clean energy, reduce carbon emissions, and protect the natural environment, among many other important issues. In this role, he also serves as Director for the Colorado Science and Engineering Policy Fellowship and assists with the coordination and facilitation of the Colorado Energy and Water Institute’s Western Energy & Water Forum. Kevin currently resides in Denver, CO and spends his free time hiking, camping, fishing, and snowboarding all across the Rocky Mountains.
